The Student Services Officer is always available to help you with any problem and to provide you with practical information. She can offer help with accommodation matters, medical requirements and any personal issues.

Free medical consultations are available on the National Health Service if you are registered on a course of six months or longer and medicines are free if you are under 18. If you are aged 19 – 21, you may also obtain free medicines by applying for a student certificate of exemption from charges.

Dental treatment is subsidised for all full-time students and appointments may be made through the Student Services Officer.

Oxford has excellent hospitals and as a leading medical centre has expertise in all areas. If you need to be admitted to hospital, treatment is free on the National Health Service.

We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate accident, medical and travel insurance to cover personal property, breakages, loss and damage before travelling.
