IELTS Preparation

Oxford Language Centre has a long record of success in training candidates for the IELTS exam. We have a current IELTS examiner on our staff, so you can be sure of receiving excellent, focused tuition.

Exam students join General English classes every morning to develop and build their English.

In the afternoons they attend the IELTS preparation class with experienced and specialist teachers and learn how to respond to the specific tasks required by the IELTS test. Classes include regular test practioce of all four modules, with detailed written and verbal feedback and guidance from teachers.

Although we focus mainly on IELTS to reflect common demand, we can also help you to prepare for internationally recognised qualifications in TOEFL, Cambridge Exams, or the Pearson Test of English. We are a Recognising Institution for the new Pearson Test of English and at present we are the only language school in Oxford to offer preparation for this new exam. The Pearson Test of English is now accepted by most British and international universities, as well as by the UK Border Agency as proof of English proficiency.
